Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Efraim Diveroli!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lee Garic!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diveroli dives in and scores a takedown into Garic's guard.
Garic wriggles free and stands up.
No luck for Diveroli with that takedown attempt.
Diveroli shoots in but Garic avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Efraim Diveroli seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters circle momentarily. Garic darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

and Garic counters with a thumping low kick.

Diveroli shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Garic but Garic pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Garic stuns Diveroli with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Garic changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Diveroli is breathing heavily.
Diveroli tries to move into range but Garic moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Garic throws out a powerful jab.

Garic drops Diveroli with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Diveroli looks back up at him and smiles so Garic waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Garic fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Diveroli clinches up against the cage.
A nice left hand lands by Garic.
Diveroli tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Garic just stands there and leans against the cage.

Diveroli definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Diveroli gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Garic kicks Diveroli off and gets back to his feet.
Garic connects with a solid leg kick.
Garic looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Diveroli changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Garic tries to avoid it but Diveroli manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Garic to the ground. Garic escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Garic! But no joy.

Diveroli shoots in for a takedown but Garic shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Garic swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Diveroli ducks right into an uppercut from Garic.

and Garic counters with a crisp right hand that drops Diveroli! Garic lets Diveroli back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Garic lands a big right hand that sends Diveroli crashing to the mat! Garic stays standing though and waves Diveroli back to his feet!
Oh Diveroli is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Garic is stalking Diveroli. Diveroli circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Garic, and it's lights out! Diveroli really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Lee Garic!
In defeat, Efraim Diveroli stepped up to the mic, saying 'I’m a young gun but don’t worry I’ll be back '.
