Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ben Jamin (ranked 2859 p4p, 3694 weight class) and Jung Lee (ranked 364 p4p, 434 weight class). Jung Lee will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ben Jamin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jung Lee!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee scores with a body shot.

Lee pushes Jamin up against the cage in a clinch.
Lee stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Lee lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Jamin is working for takedown but Lee is calmly controlling the position for now.
Lee just leaning against Jamin, taking a breather.
Lee's coach down at Reach Around was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Lee's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Lee lands a right hand.
Lee lands a body shot in the clinch.

Jamin drops down looking for an ankle pick but Lee pulls his leg out and moves away.

Jamin definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jamin is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Lee will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Lee wants to get back to his feet but Jamin drags him back down.

Jamin lands a decent elbow from side control.
Jamin lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Lee wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jamin tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jamin has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Jamin is looking to take a break and control but Lee is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Jamin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Lee scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Jamin avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jamin changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Lee fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jamin, pushing him back against the cage.
Nice body punch from Lee - that landed with a thud.
Lee makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Lee lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Lee trying to stall but Jamin improves his position.
Lee gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Jamin.
Jamin is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Lee lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Lee scores with a shot to the side of Jamin's head.
Jamin is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Lee gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Lee blocks an elbow strike from Jamin.
Lee throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Lee takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Lee gets through Jamin's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Lee lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Jamin backwards.
Jamin tries to break free but Lee pushes him back against the cage.
Jamin is trying to maintain a safe position but Lee gets an underhook and turns Jamin into the cage.
Lee lands with a right to the head.

Jamin wants a takedown.
Jamin looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Lee gets through Jamin's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Lee is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

A nice right hand lands inside from Lee.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Jamin is rocked!
Lee pushes Jamin back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Oh Jamin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lee lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Jamin to his knees! Lee keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jung Lee!
