Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Oenomaus Doctore (ranked 2863 p4p, 1408 weight class) and Bernhard River (ranked 166 p4p, 70 weight class). Doctore comes to the cage accompanied by Metallica - . River has chosen Metallica: Enter Sandman as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
River misses with a looping left.
River connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Doctore on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

and Doctore counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Doctore looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Doctore went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Doctore stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from River.

Doctore takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Doctore doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
River lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
The fighters circle momentarily. River darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
River tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Doctore defends well and River ends up having to push Doctore into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Oenomaus Doctore is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
River tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Doctore manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Doctore on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
River moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

River bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
River has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Doctore parries the strikes from River easily there. River is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Doctore to escape.
Doctore is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Doctore trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
River has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

River postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
