Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bjj Ace (ranked 2651 p4p, 3071 weight class) and Dumitru Mazilu (ranked 334 p4p, 378 weight class). Mazilu has chosen Noi suntem poporul, jos cu dictatoru as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mazilu got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ace has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mazilu has managed to get both his arms back between Ace's legs - danger averted.

Mazilu is stalling here. Ace is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Mazilu seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Ace has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Ace wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mazilu keeps working.

Ace is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Mazilu knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

That was a close round but I would say that Bjj Ace will probably get the nod.

Ace escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mazilu gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Mazilu content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Ace has locked up a guillotine! Ace's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Mazilu is holding on here and Ace must be using up a lot of energy. Mazilu has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Ace gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
