Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lazuran Riku (ranked 1566 p4p, 1516 weight class) and No Way (ranked 202 p4p, 194 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 47 - 19 - 2, fighting out of New York, Lazuran Riku!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, No Way!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Sosuke Kotani and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Riku misses.
Way misses with a wild body shot.
Way with a jab.
Way takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
No Way seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Way throws a solid leg kick but Riku takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Way.
Riku misses with an uppercut.
Way misses with a series of wild punches.
Way throws an off balance right hand
and Riku counters with a stiff right hand.

Way forces Riku back against the cage and clinches.

Riku breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Way misses with a left hand
and Riku counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Way takes a swing at Riku's ribcage but misses.
Way slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Way rushes Riku and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Riku pushes Way back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Riku lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Way backwards.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Way pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Way lands a jab-cross combination.
Riku throws a good cross that connects.
Way falls off balance throwing a combination
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Way tries to clinch but Riku is having none of it.
Riku takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
A big left from Way misses.
Way on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Way on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Riku. Riku obviously looking to wear him down.
Way throws a right hand that misses
and Riku counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Riku lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Way tries to land a body kick
and Way takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Way is rocked!
Way throws a sloppy body shot
and Riku counters with a straight right hand.
Way is still on wobbly legs! Can Riku finish him?
A shot to the liver by Riku. Beautiful body shot.

Riku lands a big right hand that sends Way crashing to the mat! Riku stays standing though and waves Way back to his feet!
Riku fakes the body blow, causing Way to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Way goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Lazuran Riku!
A very excited looking Lazuran Riku rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
