Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Dinu (ranked 1289 p4p, 407 weight class) and Dude Dudeson (ranked 175 p4p, 60 weight class). Ryan Dinu could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Dude Dudeson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 44 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Dinu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dude Dudeson! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Shimada and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dinu looks to land a combination. Dudeson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Dudeson fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Dinu is out of range. Dudeson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Dinu has hold of Dudeson's hands but Dudeson slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Dudeson wants to take a breather but Dinu is having none of it. Dudeson trying to pass the guard but Dinu defending well. Dudeson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Dinu's head. Dudeson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Dinu sees it coming and defends easily. Dudeson prevents Dinu from standing back up.
Dudeson lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Dudeson throwing shots but Dinu is blocking nicely. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dinu wants to get back to his feet. Dudeson is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Dudeson lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Dudeson thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Dudeson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Dinu sees it coming and defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Dudeson throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Dudeson working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Dudeson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Dinu looks like he's trying to stand up.
Dudeson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dinu does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Dudeson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dinu's waist but Dinu gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dudeson off to one side. Dinu fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dudeson, pushing him back against the cage. Dudeson can't get the takedown.
Dudeson has Dinu pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Dinu manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Ryan Dinu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dude Dudeson. Dinu lands a body punch. Dinu lands a shoulder strike. Dinu looking to slow down the pace here. Dinu lands an uppercut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dudeson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Dinu pulls him back up using the underhooks. Dudeson is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Dinu is defending well. Dinu lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Dinu stops a takedown attempt from Dudeson.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dinu lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Dinu stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Dinu is working Dudeson over against the cage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dinu lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Dudeson is rocked! Dinu lands an uppercut. Dudeson is still on wobbly legs! Can Dinu finish him? Dinu creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Dudeson with a big uppercut! Dudeson tries to clinch up but Dinu pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Dudeson to the mat! Dudeson covers up and Dinu unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ryan Dinu! Ryan Dinu decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well. In defeat, Dude Dudeson stepped up to the mic, saying 'What can I say, im still the king between the sheets. Ladies hit me up 904-The-Dude!!!'.
