Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sven Torvik (ranked 901 p4p, 1617 weight class) and Sergey Makarov (ranked 120 p4p, 217 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torvik displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Makarov.
Makarov goes for a double leg but Torvik avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Torvik continues to drive forward.

Torvik feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Makarov sprawling to the canvas! Makarov rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Torvik finish him?!
Makarov walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Torvik swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!

Sven Torvik spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
