The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ho Joy throws a jab but it's blocked by Barbosa.
Ho Joy uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Barbosa.

Edson Bidon Barbosa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ho Joy drops his hands momentarily and Barbosa takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Barbosa lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ho Joy has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ho Joy and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That was a close round but I would say that Edson Bidon Barbosa will probably get the nod.

Ho Joy takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

and Barbosa counters with a nice right hand that sends Ho Joy toppling to the canvas! Ho Joy scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Barbosa finish him?!

Barbosa cracks Ho Joy with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Ho Joy falls to his knees and Barbosa doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
