And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gary Sparxx!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Phil Schofield and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Boise swings widly with a right hand
and Sparxx counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Nice jab there from De Boise.
Sparxx lands a big head kick that sends De Boise tumbling to the mat! Sparxx takes a step backwards and waves De Boise back to his feet - he wants the finish!
De Boise is rocked!
It looks like Cedric De Boise has been cut.
Gary Sparxx seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
De Boise chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sparxx can pounce on him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A jab from Sparxx misses.
De Boise misses with a body kick.
Sparxx follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Sparxx misses with a right hand
and De Boise counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
De Boise misses with a kick to the body.
Sparxx looks like he wants to counter punch here.
We've been informed that Sparxx has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
De Boise throws a big shot that misses.
De Boise takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Sparxx lands a big head kick that sends De Boise tumbling to the mat! Sparxx takes a step backwards and waves De Boise back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Oh De Boise is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sparxx throws a body punch but De Boise moves out of range.
De Boise seems to have got his legs back now.
De Boise misses with a hook. Sparxx ducked under it nicely.
De Boise jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Sparxx jabs De Boise right on the nose. De Boise blinks but takes it well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sparxx catches De Boise with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
De Boise throws an off balance right hand
and Sparxx counters with a huge left! De Boise is in big trouble! He's backing up but Sparxx isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save De Boise from any more damage. A dominating finish by Sparxx!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gary Sparxx!
