Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Cruz Jr (ranked 261 p4p, 386 weight class) and Ulysses Blazkov (ranked 47 p4p, 61 weight class). Blazkov has chosen Me And The Devil as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Cruz Jr closes the distance and clinches.

Cruz Jr pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Cruz Jr with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Blazkov to score with a decent uppercut.

It looks like Jorge Cruz Jr has been cut.

Ulysses Blazkov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Blazkov fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Cruz Jr has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Blazkov comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Cruz Jr takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Cruz Jr misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cruz Jr doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Blazkov cracks Cruz Jr with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Blazkov has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Cruz Jr to stand back up!

Blazkov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Cruz Jr throws a counter high kick but Blazkov was just alert enough to avoid it.

Blazkov drops Cruz Jr with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Cruz Jr! Blazkov dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
