The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Minaur lands a jab to the nose.
Beliy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
De Minaur checks a low kick from Beliy.
Beliy uses good head movement to avoid the hook from De Minaur.
Beliy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by De Minaur.
De Minaur drops his hands momentarily and Beliy takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
It looks like Rod De Minaur has been cut.
Beliy on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

De Minaur was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

As Beliy backs away, De Minaur returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

and De Minaur counters with a nice uppercut.

Beliy finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
A little feinted left hand from De Minaur on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
De Minaur takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
