Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bens Jamins (ranked 3488 p4p, 5332 weight class) and Leif Wolden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Leif Wolden was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bens Jamins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Leif Wolden! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Paul Gruel and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wolden has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Jamins could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Jamins keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Wolden. Jamins throws a big counter combination but Wolden scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Jamins throws a left and a right that both miss
and Wolden decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jamins's guard. Wolden works a leg free and moves into half guard. Wolden is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Jamins has managed to free his arm - good work. Wolden passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Jamins! Wolden wants to control the pace but Jamins is squirming around nicely. Jamins might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jamins tries to hold on but Wolden pushes him away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wolden is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Jamins is surviving well by controlling Wolden's body position as best he can. Wolden wants to control the pace but Jamins is squirming around nicely. Wolden working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Wolden is trying to take his opponent's back.
Wolden takes Jamins's back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wolden has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Jamins has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wolden has his arm under Jamins's chin here. Game over son! Wolden squeezes tightly and Jamins is forced to tap out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Leif Wolden! A less than humble Leif Wolden misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
