Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between King Turn (ranked 1573 p4p, 1753 weight class) and Frank Blank (ranked 213 p4p, 231 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, King Turn !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Frank Blank!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turn tries to clinch up.
Blank throws a right and a left that Turn avoids nicely.
Blank lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Nice takedown defense from Blank. No joy for Turn on that attempt.
As Turn backs off Blank throws a huge counter combo but Turn manages to avoid it all.
We've been hearing reports that Turn has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Blank throws a nice outside leg kick.
Turn looks to land a left hand but Blank moved out of range nicely.
A punch lands to the side of Turn 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Turn takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Blank misses with a combination

and Turn holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Blank escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Blank turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Blank thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Turn if he has to take too many more of those.
Blank lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Turn circles away quickly and effectively.
Turn looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Blank changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Turn goes for a takedown attempt but Blank pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for King Turn . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Blank's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Blank duly obliges.
Turn fails with an attempt to clinch.
Blank avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Turn doesn't manage to clinch there - Blank circles away.
Blank displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Turn .
Blank is looking for the big counter here.
Frank Blank is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Turn looks to throw the jab but Blank is out of range.
Turn tries to close the distance and clinch up but Blank swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Turn moves into the clinch.
Blank managing to block the knees to the body from Turn .
Turn missing with knees to the body.

Blank manages to break the clinch.

Blank dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Turn . That did some damage!
Blank throws a right and a left that both miss.
Blank is looking to chop away at Turn 's legs.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Blank looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Turn shoots in for a takedown but Blank shows good takedown defense.

Turn shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Turn is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Blank has managed to free his arm - good work.
Blank is controlling Turn 's trapped leg to prevent Turn from advancing to side control.

Turn seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Blank does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Blank is positioning himself well to prevent Turn advancing to mount.
Blank is not content to let Turn control the position.
Turn throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Turn looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Blank blocking the ground and pound attempt from Turn .

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Turn wants to take a breather but Blank is having none of it.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Blank can do anything to dispel that myth.

Turn is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Blank defends it well.
Turn trying to control the action but Blank is working from the bottom.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Frank Blank dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Turn fails with the takedown.
Blank keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Blank throws a right hand that Turn ducks under and follows up with a left that Turn also avoids with ease.
A nice leg kick lands there from Blank.
Blank uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Blank throws a series of punches but Turn avoids them all with ease.
Turn shoots in looking for a takedown but Blank manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Turn 's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Turn avoids a punch combination nicely.
Turn tries to close the distance and clinch but Blank swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Turn looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A left and a right from Blank both land. Nice combination.
Some wild striking there from Blank.
Blank looks to score with a jab to the body but Turn is just out of range.

Blank ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Turn moves away.

Turn manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Blank on his heels. He'll look to pass Blank's guard now, I'm sure.
Turn tries to free his leg and advance position but Blank is retaining full guard.
Blank has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Turn is pushing down on Blank's leg trying to pass to half guard. Blank is fighting to maintain full guard but Turn has managed to sneak the leg through.
Blank controlling the position for now.

Turn is working for a kimura but Blank is defending it quite comfortably.

Turn seems to be working for a kimura but Blank defends the submission attempt.

Turn wants to work for an arm triangle but Blank is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Turn not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Turn is working for a kimura but Blank is defending it quite comfortably.
Blank is looking to improve his position.
Turn scoring with strikes to the body and head.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Turn trying to control the action but Blank is working from the bottom.

Turn is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Turn wants to lay and pray for a moment but Blank keeps working.
Blank wants to get back to full guard but Turn has mounted him!

Turn looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blank tries to lock up and control but Turn gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Blank is looking to improve his position but Turn isn't that keen on the idea.

Turn is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Blank to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Blank shrugs it off.
Turn throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Turn looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Blank is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

King Turn dominated that second round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Turn fails with a takedown attempt.
Frank Blank seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Blank throws a combination. Turn tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Blank moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Blank comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Turn tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Blank manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Turn takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Blank fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Turn , pushing him back against the cage.
The referee calls for Blank to work.
Turn has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Blank is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A left hand lands to the body for Blank.

Blank breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Turn fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Blank manages to avoid it.
Blank lands with a nice combination. Turn backs away looking to recover.

Blank thows a body kick. Turn tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Turn takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Some wild striking there from Blank.
Turn tries to clinch up.
Frank Blank is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Blank works the jab nicely.
Blank throws a nice outside leg kick.
Blank is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Turn rather than just go for the knockout.
Turn throws an overhand right that lands on Blank's shoulder, as Blank tries to avoid the shot.
Blank rushes Turn and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Turn is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Blank piles on the pressure and Turn crumples to the floor! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frank Blank!
