Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Emil Karpov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Parsons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas Parsons is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Emil Karpov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Thomas Parsons! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Viktor Lagutenko and Konstantin Menshow.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parsons shoots in but no luck this time. Parsons will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nice combo by Karpov! Oh, that's hurt him - Parsons falls to the canvas and Karpov follows him into side control.

It looks like Thomas Parsons has been cut. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The strikes coming from Karpov are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Karpov wants to control but Parsons is keeping him busy. Parsons can't do much from the bottom here. Karpov trying to control the position but Parsons is working away. Karpov is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Parsons is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Karpov tries to move to full mount but Parsons actually manages to regain half guard. Karpov wants to free his trapped foot but Parsons is holding on for dear life with his legs.
 Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Karpov displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Parsons looks gassed! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Karpov drives through and clinches with Parsons against the cage.
Parsons tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Karpov smiles and moves away.
Parsons looks to clinch and Karpov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Karpov stuffs the takedown. Emil Karpov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thomas Parsons.
The fight moves into the clinch position.

Karpov has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Parsons uses from the top position. Karpov looking to hit a scissor sweep but Parsons is one step ahead there. Parsons won't allow Karpov to get back to his feet. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Karpov is on top in guard.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Karpov stands up over Parsons, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Karpov looking to sit in guard and control but Parsons gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Karpov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Parsons stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Karpov swivels though and keeps the full guard. Karpov wants to improve his position but instead Parsons has moved into half guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Karpov is looking for a sweep. Parsons is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Parsons seems to be looking for submissions.
Parsons perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Karpov slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Parsons decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Karpov, up you get! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Karpov throws a nice looking combination but Parsons bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Parsons avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Parsons should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Parsons shoots in looking for a takedown. Karpov tries to sprawl out of it but Parsons keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Karpov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Emil Karpov dominated that round. The cut man is working on Thomas Parsons's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
A clash of legs there as Parsons blocks the low kick. Karpov will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Karpov shoots for a takedown but Parsons saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. A punch combination from Parsons misses. Karpov tries to clinch
and Parsons counters with a shoot takedown. Karpov fights it but they end up in guard. Parsons trying to control but Karpov is working from the bottom. Karpov will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Parsons trying to control the position from guard on top but Karpov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Parsons pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Karpov is keeping the position for now. Parsons is looking to stand up but Karpov won't let him. Parsons advances position into side control! Karpov tries to improve position but can't.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A shot to the body from Parsons misses and Karpov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Parsons throws a leg kick
and Karpov moves into the clinch. Parsons tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Karpov smiles and moves away.

Oops... bit sloppy there by Karpov. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Parsons has eaten all the pies! Parsons throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Parsons is figuring out what he wants to do next. Karpov blocking the ground and pound attempt from Parsons. Karpov is refusing to be controlled, as Parsons sits in half guard. Karpov trying to control from the bottom.

Parsons stands up and beckons Karpov to join him on the feet. Parsons closes this distance looking for a takedown but Karpov circles away. Parsons looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Karpov is fending him off so far but Parsons persists. Nope, Karpov circles away and we're back to standing. Emil Karpov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thomas Parsons. Parsons fails with an attempt to clinch.

Parsons shoots and misses and Karpov makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Parsons really felt that one! Karpov tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Parsons swivels and escapes. Parsons darts in trying to clinch and Karpov finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Emil Karpov is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Karpov. Parsons tries to close the distance and clinch but Karpov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Karpov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Parsons changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Karpov tries to avoid it but Parsons manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Karpov to the ground. Karpov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Karpov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Parsons as he jumps to the side. Karpov looks for a takedown but Parsons sprawls well. Parsons wants to clinch but Karpov slips to the side
and Karpov counters by clinching up. Parsons tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Parsons swings wildly with an uppercut but Karpov uses good head movement to avoid it. Parsons stops a takedown attempt from Karpov.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Thomas Parsons showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Thomas Parsons's cut. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

and Parsons counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Karpov is trying to control the position but Parsons postures up. Parsons loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Karpov wants to sweep but no luck.

Parsons shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Karpov's guard. Parsons tries to free his leg and advance position but Karpov is retaining full guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Parsons seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Karpov working a defensive guard but Parsons manages to pass into side control anyway.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Parsons is working for a submission of some sort.
Thomas Parsons has got the better of the ground game so far. Karpov pushes Parsons off looking to stand but Parsons dives back in and keeps control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Karpov tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Parsons has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Parsons is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Parsons extends the arm and Karpov is forced to tap!
