Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ronny Naarden (ranked 720 p4p, 1073 weight class) and Scottie Lamez (ranked 39 p4p, 64 weight class). Scottie Lamez has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ronny Naarden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Scottie Lamez!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lamez misses with a jab to the body

and Naarden moves into the clinch.

Lamez jumps guard and drags Naarden to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Lamez is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Naarden pulls his head out easily.

Lamez has gone for a leg lock! Naarden slips out almost immediately though and dives into Lamez's guard.

Lamez throws a hook to the side of Naarden's head but Naarden sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Naarden seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Lamez ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Lamez no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Naarden is pushing down on Lamez's leg trying to pass to half guard. Lamez is fighting to maintain full guard but Naarden has managed to sneak the leg through.

Naarden passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Lamez!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Naarden avoids the attempt from Lamez to control.

Naarden goes for an armbar but Lamez turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Lamez.

Naarden lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.


Lamez is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Naarden defends well.

Naarden throws a strike but Lamez manages to get a kimura sweep and he's found himself on top with the kimura half locked in! This would be a real turnaround! He's torquing it... Will Naarden tap??? YES! He's tapped! This one is all over!
