Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eric Ries (ranked 1320 p4p, 770 weight class) and Richard Ramirez (ranked 181 p4p, 107 weight class). Ramirez has chosen Get Lucky as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Eric Ries!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard Ramirez!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Colin Fotheringham and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ries throws a nice looking combination but Ramirez bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Ries working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ramirez doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ramirez manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

The crowd cheers as Ries lands an impressive looking overhand right. Ramirez doesn't seem phased though.
