Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bob Killer (ranked 5543 p4p, 4215 weight class) and The Socks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bob Killer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, The Socks!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Ryoma Takatsuka and Josh West.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Socks shoots in and gets a takedown into Killer's guard.
Killer preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Killer working for a triangle but Socks defends it easily.
Killer wants to sweep but no luck.
Killer trying to strike off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Socks wants to control from the top but Killer keeps moving.
Socks controls from within his opponent's guard.
Socks keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Killer's head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Socks stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Killer swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Socks throws a strike but Killer rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Killer postures up in Socks's guard and throws a big left but Socks blocks it.
Killer is standing up over Socks. Socks looks to escape but Killer dives into side control.
What's Socks going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.
You can see the frustration on Socks's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Killer content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Killer sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Socks is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
We've been hearing that Killer has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Killer trying to control the action but Socks is working from the bottom.

Killer has an Americana. Socks didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Killer is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Killer hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
