Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tommy Gunn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Boxing Powerhous!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunn avoids the head kick by Powerhous.
Gunn has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad MMA Las Vegas in the buildup to the fight.
Powerhous fails with a takedown attempt.
Gunn changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Powerhous takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
We've been informed that Powerhous has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Gunn misses the shot to the body.
Powerhous forces Gunn back against the cage and clinches.
Powerhous is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Gunn can't fight it off and eventually Powerhous manages to take the fight to the floor. Gunn looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Gunn is looking to stand back up but Powerhous counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Gunn.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Powerhous has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Powerhous fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
It looks like Tommy Gunn has been cut.
Powerhous controlling from the full mount.
Powerhous lands a nice shot to the head.
Tommy Gunn's cut is getting worse.
Powerhous sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Gunn is trying to reverse the position but instead Powerhous has taken his back - oops!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Powerhous working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Gunn is doing well to defend. Powerhous seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Gunn is forced to tap and this one is over!
