Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ladislas Galopin (ranked 690 p4p, 1948 weight class) and Max Scherzer (ranked 7 p4p, 46 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ladislas Galopin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Max Scherzer! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Topper Green and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck with that takedown attempt from Scherzer. Scherzer dives in and grabs Galopin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Galopin pushes down on Scherzer's head and hops out. Galopin keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Galopin swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Ladislas Galopin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Scherzer. Galopin thows a left - swing and a miss! Scherzer wants to clinch. Scherzer with a lazy takedown attempt and Scherzer takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Scherzer misses with a takedown attempt - Galopin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Scherzer gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Scherzer shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Scherzer shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Galopin but Galopin pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's one minute gone in the round. Galopin steps into range and cracks Scherzer with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Scherzer flops backwards and Galopin dives into his guard looking to finish!
Scherzer is rocked!
It looks like Max Scherzer has been cut. Scherzer seems keen to control Galopin's posture. Scherzer is still in real trouble! Can Galopin finish him? Scherzer is looking to sweep but instead, Galopin has passed into half guard.
Scherzer seems to have recovered his senses. Scherzer is staying active underneath Galopin, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Galopin trying to pass the guard but Scherzer defending well. Galopin is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Galopin's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Scherzer slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Galopin trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Scherzer trying to keep a closed guard but Galopin is proving a slippery customer.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Scherzer working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Galopin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Galopin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Galopin advances to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Galopin is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Galopin is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Scherzer sees it coming and defends easily. Scherzer tries to get to full guard but Galopin has control of the leg.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Galopin throws the left hand but Scherzer avoids the punch easily. Scherzer looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Galopin is fending him off so far but Scherzer persists. Nope, Galopin circles away and we're back to standing. Galopin swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Scherzer dives in and grabs Galopin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Galopin pushes down on Scherzer's head and hops out. Scherzer shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Scherzer takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Galopin drops his shoulder and cracks Scherzer with a huge uppercut! Scherzer goes down! Can Galopin finish him?
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ladislas Galopin dominated that round. The cut man is working on Max Scherzer's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Scherzer doesn't succeed with the takedown and Galopin scores with a counter punch that sends Scherzer to the canvas! Galopin smells blood - he's punishing Scherzer with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Scherzer has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ladislas Galopin! Ladislas Galopin seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
