Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Trek Shek!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Padraig Ahearn!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Topper Green and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ahearn throws out a powerful jab.
Ahearn misses with an uppercut. Shek saw that one coming.
Shek waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ahearn.
Ahearn lands with an uppercut that bounces Shek off the cage and back into range.
Ahearn scores with a jab to the body.
Shek looks to throw the jab but Ahearn is out of range.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Ahearn! But no joy.
Shek throws a hook but Ahearn avoids it easily.
Shek throws a body shot but no joy.
Shek definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Shek misses the jab.
We've been informed that Ahearn has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Shek drops his hands momentarily and Ahearn takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Ahearn cracks Shek with a big right hand and Shek goes down!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Ahearn drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Ahearn seems to have locked his on tight now - Shek screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Ahearn, as he picks up the win!
