Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Abdullah Zaire!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nikita Yashin!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Ron Honeybunn and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yashin swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Zaire.
Zaire closes the distance but Yashin moves to the side
and Yashin counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Zaire changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Yashin tries to avoid it but Zaire manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Yashin to the ground. Yashin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Zaire looks to clinch
and Yashin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Yashin slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Zaire misses with a takedown
and Yashin counters with a nice uppercut.
Zaire is rocked!
Zaire takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Zaire misses with a takedown
and Yashin counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
