Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Darnell Nurse (ranked 21759 p4p, 18097 weight class) and Nero La Croix (ranked 611 p4p, 626 weight class). La Croix is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Ca Plane Pour Moi. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Nurse works La Croix's body with a nice hook.
Nurse uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from La Croix.
Nurse seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
La Croix needs to keep his hands up - Nurse had a free shot at his head there.
Nurse misses with a hook to the body
and La Croix counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Darnell Nurse has been cut.
La Croix avoids the body shot from Nurse.
La Croix throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nurse misses with a wild body shot.
Nurse misses with a right hand
and La Croix counters with a beautiful head kick that sends Nurse crashing to the mat! Oh, he's out! He's out! La Croix is jumping up and down like a maniac, spit streaming from his mouthpiece, shouting and screaming at his corner. Wow, this obviously means a hell of a lot to him! What an outpouring of emotion.
