Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kingston Banks (ranked 5938 p4p, 4047 weight class) and mr Lankey (ranked 425 p4p, 345 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kingston Banks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, mr Lankey! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Steve Erwin and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Banks tries to move into range but Lankey moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Banks jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Lankey closes the distance and pushes Banks back into the cage. Lankey is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Banks is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Lankey to keep the fight standing. Lankey stalling against the cage.
Lankey gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Lankey scoring with punches to the head and body. Lankey has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Lankey postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Banks is looking for a triangle but Lankey pushes his legs off easily.
Lankey keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Banks's head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lankey sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Banks's guard. Lankey lands strikes from half guard. Banks wants to control but Lankey is keeping busy.
Lankey content to control rather than advance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lankey is trying to control the action in half guard but Banks is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Banks is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Lankey has latched onto it... Big trouble! Lankey pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Banks is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Lankey!
