Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brock Leper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Nikki Rickie!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Bruno Hogan and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rickie throws a big shot that misses.
Leper fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Rickie misses with a body shot.
Leper tries to clinch there but Rickie circles away.
Leper avoids the body shot from Rickie.
Rickie misses with a hook. Leper ducked under it nicely.
A combination from Leper does no damage.
Leper defending well as Rickie loads up on a big left hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rickie throws a combination. Leper tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Brock Leper has been cut.
A slow jab from Rickie misses its intended target.
Leper throws a counter high kick but Rickie was just alert enough to avoid it.
Leper shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Rickie counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Leper thinking.
Leper looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brock Leper. That's going to take a lot out of him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Leper shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rickie as he jumps to the side.
Rickie swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Leper misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Rickie! But no joy.
Leper is breathing heavily.
Leper dodges the punch combination from Rickie.
Rickie tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Leper misses with a low kick.
Leper takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Leper blocks a jab.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Leper fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rickie avoids it really well and circles away.

Rickie feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Leper sprawling to the canvas! Leper rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Rickie finish him?!

Leper is rocked!

Rickie drops Leper with a naaaaasty hook - Leper is in real trouble here! Rickie dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
