Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Yoshihiro Asai (ranked 487 p4p, 779 weight class) and Aaron Petrov (ranked 31 p4p, 43 weight class). Asai kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Grand Sword. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrov wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Nice uppercut lands for Asai . That snapped Petrov's head back.

Petrov looks to land a combination but Asai avoids it well.

Petrov takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Petrov goes for a double leg but Asai avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Asai continues to drive forward.

Petrov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Asai tries to avoid it but Petrov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Asai to the ground. Asai escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Whack! Asai lands a heavy head kick that drops Petrov. The ref tackles Asai to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Petrov was done.

Yoshihiro Asai got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
