Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brazilian Gremlin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Whoo Boo!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Summer Carpenter and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boo lands a jab-cross combination.
Gremlin takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Boo misses with a double jab
and Gremlin counters with a single leg into guard. Boo didn't expect that.

Boo wants to stand and escape but Gremlin is having none of it.
Gremlin sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Boo's guard.

Boo wants to get back to his feet.
Boo has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Cozad MMA Los Angeles. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Gremlin perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Gremlin prevents Boo from standing back up.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Gremlin passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Boo!
Gremlin wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Gremlin has control of Boo's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Boo regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Boo's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Gremlin is working for a guillotine from mount but Boo frees his head quite easily.

Gremlin looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Gremlin is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Boo is in real trouble.
Gremlin is persistently looking for the submission but Boo is defending it well.

Gremlin really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Boo.
Gremlin seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Boo for as long as he can get away with.
Gremlin has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Boo misses with a wild combination.
Gremlin changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gremlin.
Boo misses with a few strikes there.
Boo throws a right and a left that both miss.
Gremlin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Boo leaves Gremlin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Boo now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Boo misses with an uppercut. Gremlin saw that one coming.
A solid leg kick lands there for Boo.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boo misses with a series of wild punches.
Gremlin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Gremlin looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Gremlin darts in looking for a takedown but Boo gets double underhooks and turns Gremlin into the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brazilian Gremlin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Boo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Brazilian Gremlin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Gremlin avoids a punch combination nicely.
Boo gets caught napping as Gremlin dives in and scores a takedown. Boo manages to retain guard.
Boo manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Boo lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Gremlin fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Boo sprawls well initially but Gremlin persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Gremlin is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Boo is trying to stand up here but Gremlin is controlling him well.

Gremlin misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Boo is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Gremlin will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Boo can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Gremlin is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Boo is forced to tap! Great finish!

Brazilian Gremlin bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
