Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jami Jarr (ranked 496 p4p, 1170 weight class) and Krisko Kurtev (ranked 70 p4p, 174 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jarr might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Wahhabi I. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 15 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jami Jarr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 15 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Krisko Kurtev! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Darius Henderson and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kurtev tries to clinch but Jarr moves away and Jarr counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Kurtev darts in looking for a takedown but Jarr gets double underhooks and turns Kurtev into the cage. Jarr lands a body shot.
Kurtev tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Jarr manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Jarr appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Kurtev rushes Jarr and presses him up against the cage. Kurtev is working for takedown but Jarr is calmly controlling the position for now. Kurtev is trying to pull guard but Jarr turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Jami Jarr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Krisko Kurtev. Jarr tries a body shot but Kurtev blocks it.
Jarr lands with a short shot to the head. Jarr presses Kurtev against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Jarr with an attempt at a knee that misses.
A nice left hand lands by Jarr.
Kurtev blocks an uppercut.
A short body shot lands from Jarr as the two fighters clinch.
Jarr doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Kurtev takes an elbow to the temple. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jarr working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Jarr lands a hook to the side of the head. Jarr misses with a punch to the body.
Jarr lands with a light punch inside. Jarr scores with a shot to the side of Kurtev's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jarr works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Jarr lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Jarr makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Still in the clinch, Jarr scores with a nice short uppercut. Jarr lands a hook to the side of the head. Jarr fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Kurtev drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jarr softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Kurtev gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Jarr has his hands on Kurtev's head, controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kurtev is looking to work some ground and pound but Jarr has wrist control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kurtev postures up in Jarr's guard and throws a big left but Jarr blocks it. Jarr keeping moving, preventing Kurtev from controlling successfully. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Jarr controlling Kurtev's posture.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Kurtev drives through and clinches with Jarr against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kurtev has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jarr is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Jarr tries a body shot but Kurtev blocks it.
Jarr lands with a right to the head. Kurtev tries for a takedown but Jarr manages to get underhooks.
Jarr tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Jarr fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Kurtev is trying to pull guard but Jarr turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Jarr connects with a knee to the head.
Jarr lands a hook to the side of the head. Kurtev is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Jarr prevents the takedown attempt.
Kurtev prevents a body shot from Jarr. Kurtev is trying to drag Jarr to the mat but Jarr just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Jarr misses with a hook to the ribs.
Jarr gets underhooks to prevent Kurtev's takedown attempt.
Kurtev goes for a takedown in the clinch but Jarr prevents it.
Jarr lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Kurtev backwards.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kurtev is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Jarr to keep the fight standing. Jarr lands a body punch. Kurtev looks winded! Jarr lands a hook that snaps the head of Kurtev backwards. Kurtev is looking for a takedown. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jarr lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Jarr lands a shoulder strike. Still in the clinch, Jarr scores with a nice short uppercut. Jarr lands a right hand that snaps the head of Kurtev backwards. Jarr unloads a knee to the mid-section. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Jarr creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Jarr comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Jarr lands a left hand that snaps the head of Kurtev backwards. Jarr lands an elbow inside. A nice right hand lands inside from Jarr. A short left from Jarr.
Kurtev is rocked! A nice right hand lands inside from Jarr. Kurtev is still on wobbly legs! Can Jarr finish him? Knees in the clinch landing for Jarr.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jarr lands an uppercut. Jarr lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Kurtev. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jami Jarr dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Jarr drops Kurtev with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Kurtev looks back up at him and smiles so Jarr waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Jarr takes a swing at Kurtev's ribcage but misses. Kurtev tries for a takedown but Jarr circles away easily and Jarr counters with a nice right hand that sends Kurtev toppling to the canvas! Kurtev scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Jarr finish him?! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kurtev throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jarr's waist but Jarr gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kurtev off to one side. Kurtev with a poor takedown and Jarr counters with a crisp right hand that drops Kurtev! Jarr lets Kurtev back up to his feet, looking for a finish! Jami Jarr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Krisko Kurtev. Jarr throws an overhand right that drops Kurtev like a sack of potatoes! Jarr dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
