Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shichiroji San (ranked 2561 p4p, 24569 weight class) and Mapple Syrup (ranked 361 p4p, 664 weight class). San comes into the arena with Seven Samurai blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shichiroji San!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mapple Syrup!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Syrup shoots for a double leg takedown but San sprawls well. He's pushed Syrup's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Syrup on the wrong end of a nice jab.
It looks like Mapple Syrup has been cut.
San connects with the punch.
Syrup is rocked!
Syrup misses with a takedown attempt
and San counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Syrup is still on wobbly legs! Can San finish him?
San fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Syrup square on the jaw! Damn, Syrup is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!

Shichiroji San decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
