Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damian Diablo (ranked 3999 p4p, 4373 weight class) and Sheng Gudis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diablo has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Damian Diablo could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Sheng Gudis's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gudis turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Gudis manages to end up in side control.
Diablo is looking to get back to his feet here but Gudis is keeping cool and he's managed to take Diablo's back.

Gudis closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Diablo to the mat! Diablo manages to get full guard.
Diablo is looking to stand back up but Gudis counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Diablo.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Gudis is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Diablo is just riding it out for now. Gudis eventually gives up the hold.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Gudis. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Diablo avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Gudis.

Gudis thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Diablo could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Gudis changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Gudis uses his free foot to push down on Diablo's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Diablo.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Sheng Gudis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
