Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dam shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hock as he avoids it easily.
No joy there for Hock, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hock connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Dam tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hock paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Dam throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hock's waist but Hock gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dam off to one side.
Hock with a nice cross.
Hock keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Mike Hock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan Dam.
Hock throws a right and a left that Dam avoids nicely.
Dam shoots in for a double leg but Hock sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Dam is trying to escape back to his feet but Hock uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Hock wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dam keeps working.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Hock fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dam, pushing him back against the cage.
Hock wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Dam wants the takedown. Hock is fighting it off but Dam persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Hock's guard against the cage.
Hock is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Dam wants to get up but he can't break Hock's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

I would just about give that final round to Dan Dam.
Well Hock has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
