Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Gerardo Blanco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Joshua Christ!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yuuki Gou and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christ gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Blanco.
Blanco misses with a combination
and Christ counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Gerardo Blanco has been cut.
Blanco lands a left and a right that send Christ crashing to the mat, dazed. Blanco thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Christ is rocked!
It looks like Joshua Christ has been cut.
Blanco looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Christ switches off momentarily and Blanco cracks him with a monster right hand! Christ topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Blanco dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Blanco!
