Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Chen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zakai Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andrew Chen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zakai Turner! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chen drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Turner wants to control but Chen postures up. Chen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Turner keeps working. Turner prevents Chen from moving into mount. Turner is looking to reverse the position. Turner is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Chen advances to full mount. Chen tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turner wants to hold on but Chen pushes him away. Turner keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Chen avoids the attempt from Turner to control. Turner tries to get back to half guard but can't. Chen with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Turner tries to hold on but Chen pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Turner wants to get back to his feet.
Turner looks gassed! Chen content just to control the position here. Chen wants to control the pace but Turner is squirming around nicely. Turner is working to get back to half guard.
Turner tries to hold on but Chen postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Turner throwing hammer fists to the chest of Chen. What's that going to do exactly? Chen has hold of Turner's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Turner manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Turner tries to hold on but Chen postures up. Chen trying to control but he's not successful this time. Turner is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Turner keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Turner tries to buck Chen off but he can't manage it. Chen looking to secure an arm triangle but Turner defends it well. Turner is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Chen wants to control the pace but Turner is squirming around nicely. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Chen prevents Turner from getting the reversal. Chen is working for a guillotine from mount but Turner frees his head quite easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andrew Chen dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Turner shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Chen decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Turner's guard. Turner is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Turner wants to stand up but Chen is controlling him. Chen postures up.
Turner wants to sweep but no luck. Chen sitting in guard here, content to control. Chen scoring with punches to the head and body. Turner really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Chen controls from within his opponent's guard. Turner wants to stand but Chen is controlling the position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chen pushes down on Turner's leg and manages to get into half guard. Turner keeps control of the position for the meantime. Turner wants to stand back up but Chen manages to pass into side control.
Chen takes a little break here. Turner wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Chen has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Turner! Turner is trying to escape the mount.
Turner stops Chen from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Chen with a couple of short strikes. Turner wants to control but Chen is having none of it. Turner swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Turner tries to hold on but Chen pushes him away. Turner slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Chen seems to be looking for submissions.
Turner regains full guard. Nicely done. Turner has his feet on Chen's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Turner tries to clinch there but Chen circles away.
Chen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A punch combination from Chen misses. Chen looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chen works his way into full mount! Chen looking to control but Turner is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Turner is desperately trying to improve his position but Chen has a good base and remains in mount. Chen manages to capitalize on a mistake by Turner to take his back! Will Chen go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Turner looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andrew Chen dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Turner misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Turner. Chen manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Chen seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Turner does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Turner with the active half guard here but Chen passes nicely into side control. Chen just content to control the position. Chen is trying to get an arm triangle but Turner is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chen trying to control the action but Turner is working from the bottom. Turner tries to get back to half guard but can't. Turner is trying to control Chen's posture but Chen avoids it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Chen is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Turner knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Turner is looking to regain half guard here but Chen keeps moving and retains side control.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Chen dodges the punch combination from Turner.
Turner uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Chen.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Turner is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Turner is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Chen looking to control but Turner is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Turner reaches up and pulls Chen towards him, trying to control the position. Chen manages to get a guillotine from the mount though! This could be big trouble for Turner! Turner tries to roll over - now Chen is on the bottom but the guillotine is really deep and Turner has to tap out! Great work there by Chen!
