The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nyambe doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Szymkowski counters with a three punch combo that has Nyambe backing up. Nyambe nods at Szymkowski to acknowledge the strikes.
Szymkowski lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nyambe circles away quickly and effectively.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Nyambe is defended easily by Szymkowski.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Szymkowski counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Nyambe off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Szymkowski follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Nyambe was out before he hit the floor.
