Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, el Rey!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksandr Martynov and Illya Tyunina.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Rey. Rey obviously looking to wear him down.
Sanchez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rey takes a swing at Sanchez's ribcage but misses.
Sanchez thinks about countering with a head kick.
Rey drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

That has opened up el Rey's cut even more.
Rey has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Rey there as he acknowledges the shot.
Sanchez misses with a looping right.
Rey throws a head kick but Sanchez moves out of range.

Sanchez throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Rey stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Sanchez follows into mount!

Sanchez fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rey looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Rey takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
el Rey is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Sanchez swats away the attempt to clinch by Rey.
Rey is breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rey let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

Rey takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
The fighters circling - Sanchez throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Whack! Sanchez lands a heavy head kick that drops Rey. The ref tackles Sanchez to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Rey was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Paco Sanchez!
