Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Collin Windston!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rocky Balboa!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balboa misses with a wild body shot.
Balboa misses with an uppercut.
Balboa moves in looking to clinch but Windston pushes him off.
No joy there for Windston, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Balboa tries to clinch up but Windston circles away and keeps his distance.
Balboa tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Windston manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Rocky Balboa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed right hand from Balboa misses the target.
Balboa tries to clinch but Windston is having none of it.
Balboa tries to bum rush Windston with a series of wild strikes but Windston uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Balboa misses with a wild body shot.
Balboa swings for the body but Windston moves out of range.

Windston feints and as Balboa raises his hands in defense, Windston changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Windston advances position into side control!
Balboa takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Windston cracks Balboa with a big elbow.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Balboa takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Windston decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Windston avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Windston looks to score with a jab to the body but Balboa is just out of range.
Balboa unleashes a big counter combination but Windston bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Balboa tries to close the distance and clinch but Windston swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Balboa tries to clinch but Windston is having none of it.
Balboa looks to throw the jab but Windston is out of range.
Balboa tries to bum rush Windston with a series of wild strikes but Windston uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Windston shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Balboa is trying to defend but Windston finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Windston moves nicely into side control.

Windston has hold of Balboa's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Balboa tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Windston cranks the arm and Balboa screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Balboa, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Collin Windston!
