Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Qqqqqq Plppppl (ranked 4374 p4p, 4397 weight class) and Ken Timy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Timy rushes Plppppl and presses him up against the cage.

Plppppl decides to pull guard.
Timy wants to control from the top but Plppppl keeps moving.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Plppppl is on top in guard.

Plppppl controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Plppppl could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Timy has a closed guard, preventing Plppppl from standing up.
Timy striking off his back but it's not causing Plppppl any problems.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Plppppl passes Timy's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Still in half guard, Plppppl seems content to control.

Plppppl wants to control but Timy is keeping him busy.
Timy wants to improve his position but Plppppl is controlling well.
Plppppl tries to stand and escape but Timy is controlling the position.

Plppppl thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Timy's head.

Timy is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Plppppl pulls his head out easily.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Plppppl is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Plppppl stuffs the takedown attempt from Timy. Timy gets slowly back to his feet.
Plppppl tries to counter by clinching up but Timy breaks away and moves out of range.

Plppppl rushes Timy and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Timy drops down looking for an ankle pick but Plppppl pulls his leg out and moves away.

Timy sneaks out the side door and pushes Plppppl away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Plppppl really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...

Timy is trying hard to land a takedown here. Plppppl sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Qqqqqq Plppppl has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ken Timy.

Plppppl feints and as Timy raises his hands in defense, Plppppl changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Plppppl is standing up over Timy. Timy looks to escape but Plppppl dives into side control.

Plppppl tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Timy is trying to control Plppppl's posture but Plppppl avoids it.

Plppppl wants to lay and pray for a moment but Timy keeps working.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Plppppl has had enough of the clinch but Timy keeps him there for the moment.

That was a close second round but I would say that Qqqqqq Plppppl will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Plppppl drops back looking for a leg! Timy is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Timy manages to kick Plppppl off! Plppppl jumps back into Timy's guard.

Plppppl has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
