Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Erik Friedrichsen (ranked 3007 p4p, 23120 weight class) and Antonne Nguema (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Antonne Nguema!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Edson Gomes and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nguema avoids the body shot from Friedrichsen.
Friedrichsen avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Friedrichsen fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Nguema.
Friedrichsen moves out of range as Nguema strikes.
Nguema misses with a right hand
enabling Friedrichsen to counter with a crisp jab.
Antonne Nguema seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Friedrichsen lands with an uppercut that bounces Nguema off the cage and back into range.
Friedrichsen throws a sloppy head kick
and Nguema cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Erik Friedrichsen has been cut.
Nguema tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Friedrichsen slips under a jab.
Friedrichsen looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Friedrichsen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A nice combination there by Nguema.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nguema uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Friedrichsen.
Friedrichsen throws a series of strikes that have Nguema backpedaling.
Nguema scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Nguema scores with a jab to the head.
Nguema misses with a looping right.
Nguema uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Friedrichsen.
Nguema throws a left and a right that both miss
and Friedrichsen counters with a nice uppercut.

Friedrichsen throws a sloppy head kick and Nguema moves out of range easily.
Nguema throws an off balance right hand
and Friedrichsen counters with a thumping low kick.
Friedrichsen lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Nguema throws a series of punches but Friedrichsen avoids them all with ease.
Friedrichsen moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Nguema misses the shot to the body.
Friedrichsen looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Friedrichsen stuns Nguema with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Nguema looks to land a left hand but Friedrichsen moved out of range nicely.
Friedrichsen fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Friedrichsen cracks Nguema with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Friedrichsen has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Nguema to stand back up!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
and Friedrichsen counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Nguema! He's just covering up as Friedrichsen starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Erik Friedrichsen!
A relieved looking Erik Friedrichsen thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
