Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shogun Silva (ranked 2752 p4p, 1562 weight class) and Ezekiel Marley (ranked 342 p4p, 204 weight class). Marley has chosen EMOTIONALLY SCARRED as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marley walks into a stiff left hand from Silva.

Marley has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up but Marley swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Silva throws a series of strikes that have Marley backpedaling.
Silva jabs Marley right on the nose. Marley blinks but takes it well.

Silva scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Marley looks to land a left hand but Silva moved out of range nicely.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Marley lands with a hook. Silva tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Marley circles away from the clinch attempt.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Marley connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Silva momentarily.

Are you kidding me?! Marley ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Silva clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!

A less than humble Ezekiel Marley misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
