Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Henry William French (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Willis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). French comes to the cage accompanied by Blaze of Glory. Willis has chosen Can't be touched as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Eddie Willis!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Damien Edna and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
French slips a jab and a cross from Willis.
No joy there for French, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A combination from Willis does no damage.
French tries to bum rush Willis with a series of wild strikes but Willis uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Willis throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and French counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
French swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Willis counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
French tries to clinch up
and Willis counters with a series of strikes. French will be more careful next time no doubt.
French throws a right and a left that Willis avoids nicely.
French throws a left and a right that both miss
and French takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Willis misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Willis throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Henry William French seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Willis counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Willis lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Willis drops French with a right and a left! Willis comes rushing in but French regains his composure and manages to keep Willis in guard.
French is rocked!
It looks like Henry William French has been cut.
Willis gets to his feet. French looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Oh French is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Willis measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes French! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Eddie Willis!
