The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cross goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Scott is looking to counter punch.

Scott closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Scott on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Cross tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Scott avoids it.
Scott blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Scott escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cross looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Cross pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Cross's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Scott connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Cross scrambles back to his feet.
Cross throws a push kick but Scott slaps the foot to one side.
Scott moves out of range of the body kick.
Scott appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Scott thuds his right hand into Cross's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Cross misses with an attempted mid kick.
Scott is looking to clinch but Cross is avoiding it.
Cross is trying to counter with his kicks.
Scott misses with a wild combination.
Scott blocks the body kick.
Scott stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cross throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cross throws a half hearted mid kick.

Scott comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Cross looks winded!
Scott is looking to clinch but Cross is avoiding it.
Cross gets off balance looking for a body kick
enabling Scott to counter with a crisp jab.

Scott catches Cross napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Cross to the canvas!

Cross is rocked!

It looks like Sindey Cross has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Scott gets to his feet - Cross follows without any prompting.
Cross is still on wobbly legs! Can Scott finish him?
Scott lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Cross is looking to close the distance but Scott sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Cross crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Cross is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
