The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Diavolum instigates a clinch.
Jasoy keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Diavolum's efforts to push away.
Jasoy is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Diavolum is keeping busy.
Diavolum is trying to break the clinch but Jasoy is controlling him.

Jasoy tries to circle away but Diavolum has him pinned against the cage.
Diavolum has had enough of the clinch but Jasoy keeps him there for the moment.

Diavolum wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jasoy has him pressed against the cage.

Diavolum breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jasoy shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Diavolum but Diavolum pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Diavolum stuns Jasoy with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Jasoy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Diavolum swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Diavolum takes the fight into the clinch.
Jasoy is trying to maintain a safe position but Diavolum gets an underhook and turns Jasoy into the cage.
A nice left hand lands by Diavolum.
Jasoy goes for a takedown in the clinch but Diavolum prevents it.

Diavolum presses Jasoy against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Diavolum's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Jasoy gets caught flat footed, as Diavolum shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Diavolum gets to his feet - Jasoy follows without any prompting.
Jasoy throws a head kick but Diavolum moves out of range.

Diavolum has Jasoy up against the cage in a clinch.
Diavolum lands an uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Diavolum looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Diavolum is trying to break free.
Jasoy manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Jasoy fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Jasoy jumps guard but Diavolum stands there with Jasoy around his waist. Jasoy gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Diavolum lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Jasoy is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Diavolum pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Diavolum fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jasoy to the ground. Diavolum is now in Jasoy 's guard.

Diavolum gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Diavolum cracks Jasoy with a right hand to the side of the head.

A nice side step and Diavolum releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Diavolum drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Diavolum has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Diavolum stands and steps away. Jasoy gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Diavolum goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Jasoy is rocked!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Diavolum shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Diavolum showed some decent athleticism there.
Oh Jasoy is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Diavolum decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Diavolum has cracked Jasoy with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Diavolum lands another huge swinging hook and Jasoy tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Jasoy , before Diavolum can land any more shots!
