Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Thorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Valentine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Valentine has chosen Ice Cream Paintjob as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Hugh Johnson and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valentine's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Valentine duly obliges.
It looks like Jeff Thorn has been cut.
Valentine shoots in but no luck this time.
A telegraphed right hand from Valentine misses the target.
Thorn lands a two punch combo.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Thorn steps into range and cracks Valentine with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Valentine flops backwards and Thorn dives into his guard looking to finish!
Valentine is rocked!
It looks like John Valentine has been cut.
Thorn decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Valentine shoots in for a takedown but Thorn shows good takedown defense.
Valentine looks gassed!
Thorn wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Thorn misses with a series of wild punches.
Thorn misses with a jab, cross combination.
Decent striking displayed by Thorn there.
Thorn lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Valentine is looking to close the distance but Thorn sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Valentine crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Valentine is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
