Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Huber Schlesien (ranked 1029 p4p, 2955 weight class) and Herbert Kreischer (ranked 143 p4p, 363 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Huber Schlesien! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Herbert Kreischer! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Alyssa Summers and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schlesien takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Schlesien tries a head kick but it misses.
Schlesien scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Kreischer misses with a looping right. Schlesien is looking to counter with head kicks. Schlesien lands with a hook. Kreischer tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Kreischer uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Schlesien. Kreischer jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Kreischer misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Schlesien.
Danga de danga de dang - Kreischer scores with a four punch combination! Kreischer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Schlesien was well out of range. Poor timing from Kreischer. Kreischer takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
We've been informed that Kreischer has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kreischer fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Schlesien. Schlesien throws out a loose jab but Kreischer uses good head movement to avoid it. Kreischer wants to counter with a clinch but Schlesien pushes him away. Kreischer misses with a hook to the body
and Schlesien counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. A jab from Kreischer misses. Kreischer throws a poor cross that misses
and Kreischer takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Schlesien looks to score with a jab to the body but Kreischer is just out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schlesien takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. The fight moves into the clinch position. Schlesien throws a head punch that misses. Kreischer misses with a short punch on the inside. Schlesien takes a shot to the head. Kreischer goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

It looks like Huber Schlesien has been cut. Kreischer misses with a knee strike.
A head punch on the inside from Schlesien fails to land. Schlesien makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Schlesien goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Kreischer takes a shot to the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kreischer tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Schlesien avoids it. Kreischer struggles to land a body shot inside as Schlesien controls his hands.
Schlesien ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Schlesien no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Kreischer in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Kreischer is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kreischer distracts Schlesien with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Kreischer postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Kreischer lands a couple of digs. Schlesien working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kreischer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kreischer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kreischer got a little sloppy there for a moment and Schlesien has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kreischer has managed to get both his arms back between Schlesien's legs - danger averted. Schlesien has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Kreischer should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Schlesien has tightened it up now! Kreischer should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Huber Schlesien! Huber Schlesien spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
