Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Octavio Dos Anjos (ranked 3294 p4p, 2573 weight class) and Rufus Rutger (ranked 403 p4p, 331 weight class). Dos Anjos comes to the cage accompanied by Somebodies' Gonna Get They Ass Kicked. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Octavio Dos Anjos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Russell Pearce and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Anjos defending well as Rutger loads up on a big left hand.
Dos Anjos swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Rufus Rutger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rutger throws a lazy right hand but Dos Anjos sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Dos Anjos throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rutger misses with an uppercut. Dos Anjos saw that one coming.
Rutger looks to land a left hand but Dos Anjos moved out of range nicely.
