Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pan Adams (ranked 4307 p4p, 4519 weight class) and Codwell Trot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pan Adams has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pan Adams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Codwell Trot! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Illya Tyunina and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trot shoots in looking for a takedown but Adams manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Trot's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Adams has taken the fight to the clinch.
Adams has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Trot uses from the top position. Adams trying to control the position here. Trot got a little sloppy there for a moment and Adams has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Trot has managed to get both his arms back between Adams's legs - danger averted. Trot working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Trot throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Adams works some decent striking defense from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Adams wants to sweep but no luck. Trot controls from within his opponent's guard. Adams is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's one minute gone in the round. Adams is nestled in close to Trot, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Adams lands a nice short elbow.
Trot is rocked! Adams is looking for a kimura here.
Trot wants to control but Adams is keeping busy and won't allow it. Adams lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Adams working over Trot with some ground and pound. Trot looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Trot is still in real trouble! Can Adams finish him? Trot really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Adams. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Adams missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Adams throwing shots but Trot is blocking nicely. Trot seems to have recovered his senses. Trot misses with some strikes from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Adams lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Trot! More strikes land and this one is all over! Adams jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pan Adams!
