Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kiril Bohizdar (ranked 1636 p4p, 468 weight class) and New Breed One (ranked 96 p4p, 29 weight class). New Breed One has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kiril Bohizdar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, New Breed One!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jorge Garcia and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
One goes for a double leg but Bohizdar avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bohizdar continues to drive forward.
Bohizdar wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Bohizdar throws a head kick but One moves out of range.
Bohizdar tried to score with a low kick but One checks it.
One goes for a double leg but Bohizdar avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bohizdar continues to drive forward.

Bohizdar lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
One throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bohizdar sees it coming and avoids it easily.
One moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
One ducks under a wild hook from Bohizdar.
One shoots in but no luck this time.
Kiril Bohizdar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of New Breed One.

Bohizdar throws a sloppy head kick and One moves out of range easily.
Bohizdar leaves One with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
We've been told by Bohizdar's head coaches at Desert Fitness & Training (14 Elite Coaches) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Bohizdar throws a body shot but no joy.
Bohizdar throws a right and a left that both miss.
One wants to counter with a clinch but Bohizdar pushes him away.
One throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bohizdar's waist but Bohizdar gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing One off to one side.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bohizdar fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

and Bohizdar counters with a straight right hand.

and One counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Bohizdar!

You can see the frustration on Bohizdar's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

One tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
One is putting a hurting on Bohizdar here, landing some big shots from side control.

and Bohizdar counters with a big head kick but One shrugs it off.

One uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bohizdar.
One drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Bohizdar defends it well.

Bohizdar is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. One is defending well though. Bohizdar let's go of the attempt for now.
One tries to escape but Bohizdar has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
One rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Bohizdar wants to work for an arm triangle but One is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
One is just content to waste time from the top position. Bohizdar takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

One drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bohizdar dives on top into guard.

New Breed One has got the better of the ground game so far.
Bohizdar wants to control from the top but One keeps moving.

Bohizdar is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
One can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bohizdar controls the pace.

One is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bohizdar is aware though and is defending well.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Kiril Bohizdar dominated that second round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

One walks forward, straight into a front kick from Bohizdar.
One walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

One shoots in looking for a takedown. Bohizdar tries to sprawl out of it but One keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bohizdar manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
One is pushing down on Bohizdar's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bohizdar is fighting to maintain full guard but One has managed to sneak the leg through.
One wants to control but Bohizdar is keeping him busy.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Bohizdar has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. One is working away from the top position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bohizdar is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and One has latched onto it... Big trouble! One pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Bohizdar is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from One!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). New Breed One!
After winning the bout, New Breed One thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
