Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jach Bresnar (ranked 828 p4p, 1438 weight class) and Alec Harvey (ranked 114 p4p, 191 weight class). Harvey has chosen Lemonade - Yungblud & Denzel Curry as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jach Bresnar!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alec Harvey!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harvey scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bresnar doesn't seem bothered though.
Bresnar tries to clinch there but Harvey circles away.
Harvey looks to land a combination but Bresnar avoids it well.
Harvey throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bresnar sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Bresnar avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Bresnar misses with a straight left.
Donk. Harvey catches Bresnar right on the button with a cross.
Bresnar swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Bresnar takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

We've been told by Bresnar's head coaches at whitey's gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Bresnar throws a hook to the side of Harvey's head but Harvey sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Harvey shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bresnar as he jumps to the side.

That was a close round but I would say that Jach Bresnar will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Harvey throws a hook to the side of Bresnar's head but Bresnar sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Harvey lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Bresnar tries to close the distance and clinch up but Harvey swats him away and circles back towards the center.

The fight stays on the outside here - Bresnar looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
It seemed like Harvey was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Harvey jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bresnar walks away with a smile on his face. Harvey gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
