Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Dobson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frederico Servos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dobson comes into the arena with Bad Magick blaring out of the sound system. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Frederico Servos was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Servos shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Andrew Dobson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Servos looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Servos gets caught flat footed, as Dobson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Dobson could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Dobson wants to pass the guard but Servos is keeping the position. Servos tries to strike from the bottom.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Servos keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Servos takes a jab right on the kisser.
Servos throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dobson's waist but Dobson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Servos off to one side. Andrew Dobson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frederico Servos. Dobson tries for a takedown but Servos circles away easily and Servos counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Dobson! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dobson is breathing heavily. Dobson is looking to get to half guard. Servos cracks Dobson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Servos swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Dobson is now in Servos's guard.
