And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jim Johnson!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson shoots in for a takedown but Rex shows good takedown defense.

Johnson pushes Rex up against the cage in a clinch.
Johnson looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Rex really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Rex lands an elbow inside that Johnson shrugs off.
Johnson wants a takedown.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Johnson goes for a takedown in the clinch but Rex prevents it.
Dino Rex has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Johnson.

Johnson is trying to pull guard but Rex turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Johnson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rex doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Johnson is tightening it up a little... Rex has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Rex reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Rex taps out! Nice BJJ there by Johnson!
