Gatsby has chosen Yung n Bootyfull as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jay Gatsby was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Xiong Guo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Gatsby.

Gatsby's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Guo connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Gatsby scrambles back to his feet.

Guo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Guo cracks Gatsby with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Gatsby looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Guo finish him?

Guo fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Gatsby square on the jaw! Damn, Gatsby is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!

After winning the bout, Xiong Guo thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
